Get to know a little about our 22-year trajectory as an information technology company
The beginning
Founded by students recently graduated in Computer Science at UFMG, Eteg began its trajectory at the FUMSOFT incubator, in Belo Horizonte, with the construction of products for the e-commerce and music teaching area. These were years of challenge and growth, without previous experience. All the learning experienced during this period helped us to realize that we really needed to continue studying to be successful with our entrepreneurial journey!
Learning to grow in a structured way
In the following years, already graduated from the incubator, the knowledge acquired in the development of WEB solutions led us to the systems development market. At that moment, we finally consolidated our information technology company as a software house, and we were able to disseminate some of our expertise through training and consulting. We also started to work with processes, both for clients and internally (MPS.BR).
Market consolidation
In the period between decades, Eteg gained relevance among customers and developed projects for the financial market, for the health field and for government agencies. In our new headquarters and around 80 professionals, we grew consistently during the period and began to obtain important achievements for the information technology company, including participation in the 100 best companies to work for, the Great Places to Work, some awards in the Quality area, MPS.BR level C certification (in which we participated in a select group of 50 companies in Brazil).
Innovation and products
As of 2013, our information technology company felt ready to resume its initial project of developing products and seeking innovation. From this will and planning with focus on these objectives, 3 innovation fronts emerge from which Escola em Movimento (School in Motion), a highlighted solution for the educational area, that became a successful spin-off. It is also during this period that we began to delve deeper into the healthcare market, with new solutions for the healthcare area. Our dedication, knowledge and own methodologies were awarded with the “Great Place to Work (GPTW)” 3 consecutive times.
Internationalization and a lot of learning
The new challenges and the economic period led us to a strategic repositioning. Eteg then continues its journey to international projects, bringing new experiences and capabilities. We have teamed with IBM to develop technologies aimed at artificial intelligence, using Watson. As of 2017, our information technology company gradually focused on the technologies required in the most diverse market segments.
The new strategy: productivity and digital transformation
From the reflection of your skills, our information technology company opened three new lines of work:

Since 2018, Eteg's new era has been accompanied by the structuring of two new business units - CX and Automation - and thus all our processes now have the digital transformation of our customers as an intrinsic value, which we do not give up.
The opening of these new business units brought a greater range of action and mastery of important skills for our information technology company, such as improving customer service based on the customer experience, using omnichannel technologies.
